Job Description

Position:                       Designer | Electrical Engineering (Building)

Job Location:               Based in our Burlington, ON Office: 471 Locust St., Burlington, Ontario L7S 1T9


Duties and Responsibilities:


Reporting to one of the Team Leads the successful candidate will be responsible for electrical engineering cad design for projects in all regions. These responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Design/Drafting for electrical building systems including experience with some or all of the following:


    • POWER



Some site investigation/field may also be included.

  • Travel will be required throughout ON, PQ, NB, PEI, NS & possibly NL.

  • Travel is limited to 1 or 2 days per visit where practical.


  • Graduated: Electrical Engineering Technology program

  • 1-5 years relevant work experience with a demonstrated track record

  • Trustworthy, Self-Motivated, Self-Starter with above average work ethic and demonstrated integrity beyond reproach.

Required Skills/Experience (at an above average level minimum):

  • Excellent Communication Skills (both written and oral in English)

  • Analytical Problem Solver

  • Detail Oriented/Organizer/Planner

  • Self-Motivated/Team Oriented/Adaptable/Flexible

  • AutoCAD 2002-2016 (some or all) – required

  • Revit 2015-2016 (some or all) – required

  • Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel) – required

  • Previous work experience years with retail, restaurant and commercial engineering projects

  • Excellent Computer Skills

  • Valid Driver License and personal automobile transportation required
